Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer le 21e anniversaire du lancement du t\u00e9lescope spatial Hubble de la NASA\/ESA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La partie d\u00e9form\u00e9e de la plus grande des galaxies montre des signes d&rsquo;interactions de mar\u00e9e avec la plus petite. On pense donc que la plus petite galaxie a travers\u00e9 la plus grande &nbsp;la plus grande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cr\u00e9dit:&nbsp; NASA, l&rsquo;ESA et le Hubble Heritage Team (STScI \/ AURA)<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/reperes-astro.fr\/%77%70%2d%63%6f%6e%74%65%6e%74\/uploads\/2014\/11\/heic1107a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"320\" height=\"324\" src=\"https:\/\/reperes-astro.fr\/%77%70%2d%63%6f%6e%74%65%6e%74\/uploads\/2014\/11\/heic1107a.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2630\" title=\"photo 1 du HUBBLE TOP 100\" srcset=\"https:\/\/reperes-astro.fr\/%77%70%2d%63%6f%6e%74%65%6e%74\/uploads\/2014\/11\/heic1107a.jpg 320w, https:\/\/reperes-astro.fr\/%77%70%2d%63%6f%6e%74%65%6e%74\/uploads\/2014\/11\/heic1107a-296x300.jpg 296w, https:\/\/reperes-astro.fr\/%77%70%2d%63%6f%6e%74%65%6e%74\/uploads\/2014\/11\/heic1107a-80x80.jpg 80w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La belle et plantureuse <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M81_(galaxie)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">galaxie spirale M81<\/a> se trouve dans la constellation bor\u00e9ale de la Grande Ourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Non contente de figurer parmi les galaxies les plus brillantes du ciel, M 81 est \u00e9galement le foyer de la deuxi\u00e8me plus brillante supernova des temps modernes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette vue superbement d\u00e9taill\u00e9e r\u00e9v\u00e8le un brillant noyau jaune, des bras spiraux bleut\u00e9s ainsi que de vastes tra\u00een\u00e9es de poussi\u00e8re, toutes caract\u00e9ristiques assez semblables \u00e0 celles de la Voie Lact\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trahissant assur\u00e9ment un pass\u00e9 quelque peu tumultueux, une tra\u00een\u00e9e de poussi\u00e8res particuli\u00e8rement remarquable transperce litt\u00e9ralement le disque galactique, en dessous et \u00e0 droite du noyau, au contraire des autres structures spirales majeures de M81. Ainsi cette veine de poussi\u00e8res vagabonde est peut \u00eatre la trace persistante d&rsquo;un fr\u00f4lement entre M81 et sa petite galaxie satellite, <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M82_(galaxie)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">M82<\/a>. L&rsquo;examen des \u00e9toiles variables de M81 (\u00e9galement connue sous la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence NGC 3031) a permis d&rsquo;obtenir une des d\u00e9terminations de distance les plus fiables pour une galaxie externe, avec 11,8 millions d&rsquo;ann\u00e9es-lumi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traduction r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par : Didier Jamet CIEL DES HOMMES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auteurs et \u00e9diteurs : Robert Nemiroff (MTU) &amp; Jerry Bonnell (USRA).
