Le satellite TESS, lanc\u00e9 dans l\u2019espace par la Nasa \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019exoplan\u00e8tes, a rep\u00e9r\u00e9 l\u2019absorption d\u2019une \u00e9toile par un trou noir. C\u2019est la premi\u00e8re fois qu\u2019un satellite permet d\u2019examiner aussi t\u00f4t le processus de destruction de l\u2019astre, raconte l\u2019agence spatiale dans un article publi\u00e9 jeudi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les scientifiques ont ainsi pu observer l\u2019\u00e9toile \u00eatre pulv\u00e9ris\u00e9e par la force de mar\u00e9e: l&rsquo;\u00e9cart de force gravitationnelle entre un trou noir et un corps est tel que ce dernier\u00a0se disloque. Cette situation rare ne se produit que lorsqu&rsquo;une \u00e9toile passe trop pr\u00e8s du trou noir, le rendant alors actif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Les premi\u00e8res donn\u00e9es de TESS nous ont permis de voir la lumi\u00e8re tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s du trou noir, beaucoup plus pr\u00e8s que nous n\u2019avons pu le faire auparavant.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Explique Patrick Vallely, chercheur dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de la National Science Foundation \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de l\u2019Ohio, aux Etats-Unis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00ab\u00a0Mod\u00e9liser la physique de ces explosions\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Ils nous montrent \u00e9galement que l\u2019augmentation de la luminosit\u00e9 de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, appel\u00e9 ASASSN-19bt, a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s douce, ce qui nous permet de dire qu\u2019il s\u2019agissait d\u2019une perturbation de mar\u00e9e et non d\u2019un autre type d\u2019explosion, comme au centre d\u2019une galaxie ou d\u2019une supernova.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Ces premi\u00e8res donn\u00e9es seront extr\u00eamement utiles pour mod\u00e9liser la physique de ces explosions\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajoute le docteur Thomas Holoien, scientifique \u00e0 l\u2019Observatoire de Carnegie, en Californie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2018, les scientifiques avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 rep\u00e9r\u00e9 l\u2019absorption d\u2019une \u00e9toile par un trou noir \u00e0 150 millions d\u2019ann\u00e9es
